Cathrin Gaute We are a family of four who live in Mo I Rana. In 1998 we bought our first Keeshond. We liked the breed and we believe there will never be another breed in our home. Until the year of 2004 we have only had males, but the wish of becoming a breeder was bigger and bigger, and the same year our first little lady came into our family as a fresh breathe in our existence and for the boy's big pleasure. Our dogs are equivalent familymembers and live of course together with us inside the house. We are of the opinion that most of the time you get a dog as you want it, and then it is a very good start that the dog is allowed to be with you. So when the night is coming, it is a matter of course for our dogs to occupy most of our bedroom. During the year we travel a lot to shows with our dogs, and the list of winning has become long and distinguished. That gives us a lot of pleasure. It is always nice to get great feedback of all the the work we put into our dogs. We would like the Keeshond to remain a healthy and beautiful breed and we will strive after breeding out of healthy lines as well as lines cleared of hip- and elbow dysplacia. We will also be breeding exclusively out of good specimens of the breed as we think that is very important. Today we have a 4 1/2 year old male with brilliant swedish, american and english bloodlines (INT NORD UCH KBHV-05 NV-05-06 Dein Hards Attention Please) and also a 2 years old old bitch (NUCH NV-06 Clandara She's The One - Nz) and her litter brother (NUCH Clandara Silver Starlight - Nz). These two were imported from New Zealand to hopefully help strenghtening the breeding here in Norway and also to give new blood to our wonderful breed. The name "Arctic Kees" was a natural choice as we live 80 kilometers from the Arctic Circle. We thank you for spending some time at our web site, and if you have questions, we would be glad to help you. Cathrin and Gaute
